Note the following:
Physical maps focus on features such as bodies of water, deserts, and mountains whereas political maps focus on names of countries.
Maps that do not specify physical or political may include aspects of both.
Maps of specific sections (modern Middle East, Asia, Africa, western Europe, eastern Europe) include the capitals of selected countries.
The landforms and bodies of water map illustrates geographical terms such as tributary, sound, and oasis.
The U.S. map includes states and capitals.
